However, as we all know, the iPhone did not only come to shape our social lives in new and unexpected ways, but the modern economy along with it. There are few other companies in the world that make comparable profit off of a single product line. In fact, the creation of the product category itself – smartphone – can be attributed to the creation of the iPhone.
